Depression/Bipolar Help is Available:

A DBSA support group for people with depression and bipolar disorder meets weekly in Lebanon, NH.

You and/or your supporters are welcome to attend:

  • We meet every Thursday night at 6:00 pm.
  • We meet in Conf. Rm 2A at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. If you go in the main entrance, go to the rotunda, around it and though the hall straight back to the other side of the building. Turn left and go down the hall until there is a stairway and elevator on the left. Go down one flight, to Level 2. Conf. Rm. 2A is the first room to the left.
  • We start with a pot luck meal. It's a real pot luck — we don't arrange ahead what to bring, and if you don't have something to contribute, don't let that stop you from coming. It's enjoyable to share a meal with the group.
  • After eating, we share our experience of the last week, talking about our challenges, our successes, and our aim for the next week. We're not a therapy group — we don't use a professional facilitator and don't give advice — but the sharing we do usually leaves us feeling better.
  • We clean up and go home at 8:00.

Call Jean, at 603 632-7493, to find out more about the group and other resources that are available to you.
